These figures come from ยฉ Richard van der Blom, trainer for Just Connecting – LinkedIn & Social Selling Training HUB, who has just published a report that offers a snapshot of the LinkedIn algorithm in 2022.

A rich report in which I will share with you the main findings:

๐Ÿ“Š Surveys are no longer the king of formats, and so much the better… From now on, the visibility of formats is more homogeneous, with PDF Documents (or carousels) in first place.
LinkedIn doesn’t favor Articles & Newsletters, which is a shame for these written formats.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Analysis of the relevance of your publications through 3 phases: 90 minutes after publication, then 8H and then based on the two previous phases.

๐Ÿ‘ Confirmation of the difference in commitment weights.
I recommend the following formula: Like < See More < Share < Comment.

Publishing optimally on LinkedIn has become very technical, but with common sense, there are a few rules to know:

โžก๏ธ Don’t tag more than 15 people, especially if they don’t interact.
โžก๏ธ Opt for emojis to facilitate readability, up to 10 emojis
โžก๏ธ Post selfies to achieve 3x more engagement
Recommended hashtags are between 2 and 6, for Richard it’s between 3 and 5, depending on how you read the report.
โžก๏ธ Don’t edit your posts within the first 10 minutes to avoid penalties
โžก๏ธ Engaging with others increases reach by 20% after your post
